Kevin Bird is the proprietor of Woodhenge Carpentry & Home Improvements ("Woodhenge Carpentry").  Kevin now operates from St Austell in Cornwall, but Durrington in Wiltshire is where he started the business.

'I was inspired to create Woodhenge Carpentry soon after relocating from West Sussex to Durrington in Wiltshire.  I had often thought about starting my own business, but my move to Durrington was the eventual catalyst, when I realised just how much demand there is in the area for skilled, professional tradesmen.

My career path has allowed me the privilege to work for a variety of prestigious joinery firms and building contractors and has enabled me to diversify my expertise to cover most aspects of building maintenance and home improvements. 

I take great pride in my work and my motto is: "If a job's worth doing, it's worth doing properly".'

 

Kevin left college with Credits in Advanced Craft City & Guilds Carpentry/Joinery qualifications and has gained more than 30 years' experience as a fully qualified carpenter and joiner in the building industry.
